Elbtal Wine Run

Every October, runners flock to Meissen to participate in the popular Elbe Valley Wine Run. The event is a leisurely, scenic run without timed or competitive results. The focus is on the picturesque landscape and the enjoyment of Saxon wine. The course runs through the Elbe Valley along the Saxon Wine Route and through the adjacent vineyards. Numerous marshals provide refreshments such as wine, water, and snacks to keep participants well-fed.
